I assess your needs to protect your private and operating assets and investments from exposure to law suits, family disputes, divorce, and governmental or judicial  confiscatory actions.

I work with you to develop, implement and oversee a comprehensive legal plan in collaboration with your lawyers, accountants and consultants in various juris-dictions. Quite often I would manage your legal team in any given country to ensure your interests and goals are effectively represented and the legal cost under control.

STRATEGIC LEGAL PLANNING

Consigliere  (Italian consigliere "counselor", pronounced [konsiʎˈʎɛːre]) is a position within the leadership structure of family of power and wealth. The word was popularized by the novel The Godfather (1972), and its film adaptation in which the consigliere was played by Tom Hagan. A consigliere is an adviser or counselor to the Head of the family. The consigliere is a close, trusted friend and confidant, a family's version of an elder statesman. He is devoid of ambition and dispenses disinterested advice. This passive image of the consigliere does not correspond with what little is known of real-life consiglieri however. By the very nature of the job, a consigliere is one of the few who can argue with and challenge the Patriarch, when needed, to ensure the legal, financial and personal interests of the family and its members are protected.

Your family, your assets, your business, your marriage and your reputation are exposed to legal  risks. I assess your exposure, identify oppor-tunities and implement risk mitigation strategies. I develop with you a strategy and help with the imple-mentation.

I advise you, your family and its members on a globalized stage to proactively address exposure to taxation, privacy, pre-immi-gration planning, cross border investing and holdings, as well as residency and multiple nationalities. I have also vast experience in pre- and post-divorce planning.
